Wet Wet Wet are announcing that their upcoming autumn UK tour has been cancelled and that ticket holders will automatically receive a refund from original point of purchase.

Having just a completed a successful run of summer festival shows that saw Wet Wet Wet play in front of over 75,000 people and with little over four weeks to go until the first show of their autumn tour, it has become abundantly clear due to issues that have arisen from Covid that the band and their touring partners will be unable to deliver the show that fans expect at every date on the tour.

A spokesman for the band said: “The complexities of live music multi-date touring are difficult enough but add in numerous restrictions from different authorities, indeed governments, coupled with soaring costs and supply issues and the logistics simply don’t work.”

Graeme, Tommy, Neil and Kevin added: “We know that the many thousands of ticket holders will be upset by this news and we totally share their disappointment. We will do everything in our power to make it up to our fans and get back out there performing live as soon as we can.”
